Good Food is Some Serious Business.

My name is Estela Perfetti, and my love for food is truly one of a kind. Growing up in the restaurant business, I was immersed in a world where taste, presentation, and perfection were paramount. My father, a true culinary artist and connoisseur, instilled in me a keen eye for presentation and an unwavering appreciation for how a dish should taste. I was fortunate to be part of that world until we closed our doors in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Moving to New York City opened my eyes to an entirely new culinary universe. The diversity of restaurants and dishes here deepened my passion for food even further. Exploring the city’s vibrant dining scene has become my way of staying connected to the restaurant industry, and now, I’m eager to share my thoughts on every place I experience.

As I always say, food is deeply personal. It’s the thread that connects us all, bringing people together to share unique experiences over a satisfying meal. Yet, there’s also an art to it. Whether it’s a humble “hole in the wall” or a high-end establishment, the ability to deliver an exceptional dish is what sets a restaurant apart. Every detail matters—the flavors, the presentation, the ambiance—it all contributes to that perfect, unforgettable experience. One misstep, and it can alter someone’s entire perception.

So yes, I have something personal with every NYC restaurant, and I’m not afraid to talk. After all, food isn’t just sustenance—it’s a story, an emotion, and an experience worth savoring.
